European Bluegrass Music Association va recevoir un Distinguished Achievement Award pour les services rendus à la musique Bluegrass lors des Awards à WOB fin septembre.
J'y serai avec Angelika, Rienk et Chris Keenan pour le recevoir.
Je trouve ça plutôt cool

J'ai comme l'impression que ça n'émeut pas beaucoup le participants du forum...

Ou alors, ils ne sont pas tous rentrés de Vacances ??....Attendons la "rentrée" !...

Bien pour l'Award, enfin, il n'y en a pas que pour "eux" !!... C'est une bonne nouvelle ! 8)

Sur le site de EBMA, il y a un tout petit encart avec les résultats du concours de groupes de La Roche. Est arrivé troisième: Springtime! Pour une fois qu'il y a un groupe français sur le podium, ç'aurait été sympa de ne pas massacrer son nom.

Ouais , c'est quand même pas très "pro"....

1. C'était écrit si petit que je pense pas que grand monde l'ait vu. Moi même je ne l'ai trouvé que parce que j'ai cherché s'il y avait qq chose sur La Roche.

2. J'aurais bien lancé un sujet sur la troisième place de Springfield mais comme je fais un article pour le Cri du Coyote où il en est largement question, j'ai préféré me consacrer à mon article.

Of course, it's very easy to criticise as long as you're keeping far away from any active involvement of your own. Yes, EBMA might not be professional in many ways, but I don't think, doing nothing about it - as long as you care - is very professional either. And if you don't care, then why criticise?

If you care, and criticise what's being done - or not - why not take responsibility and JOIN EBMA or even the EBMA BOARD, and do it much better. I'm sure you could contribute - so why don't you?
I have given a lot of commitment into this for many years, and we did make improvements in many ways, connecting people and organisations. Why do you French always feel excluded?

OK, maybe I am taking this too personal, but I want you to know: yes I feel for this organisation, and I want to make things better and more professional. And I think we would do much better if we worked together instead of playing little games....

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, I will try to dedicate some time (that I don't really have available) to read you feedbacks here. And if you read my message well, you might feel like joining forces and helping me (us) out to overcome all our imperfections.
