We are a family of 6 planning a European Bluegrass music tour May 12 - 24.
We are a high energy group with 4 young men and a father who thinks he still is. The guys enjoy entertaining with Americana style music and have high hopes to be accepted at the FIMU Festival in Belforte, May 21 - 24. We are willing to travel throughout Europe during our stay May 12 - 24. Feel free to pass our information along to interested parties.

Hi Kathy, and welcome to our site.
The month of May is a big bluegrass month across Europe with a big festival at Voorthuisen in Holland on weekend of 12 - 14 May.
you have probably already been over there but here are a couple of sites

Concerning myself, I organise two maybe three concerts a year outside of the main festival in the summer and I have one for May nearly done, so I cannot personally be of any extra help for you I'm afraid.

Thanks for the links. We have recently been accepted to play for the EWOB Festival in Holland on weekend of 12 - 14 May and are hoping the same for FIMU the weekend of May 21 - 24. Unfortunately, neither covers our costs, so on weekdays we are making ourselves available for gigs in France, Holland or in between.

They also do trick instrumentation and roping just because they can and mix up bluegrass, old time/Appalachian and gospel tunes with a touch of comedy. Generally, shameless hams.

Thanks for the link to the festival. Unfortunately, May 21 (eve) - 24 we hope to be busy with the FIMU Festival. May 13 - 21 are open, especially weekdays. Have you heard of FIMU?

How does one find out about all these bluegrass festivals going on in Europe in May?

They're not all festivals, some are just concerts that fit in to "Bluegrass Month".
The second link I gave you lists dates and venues from last year.
Maybe you could email directly to the guys from Voorthuisen who seem to coordinate this month.
