You guys are scaring me now with your English.

Oh, and one more thing for English speakers...gadjograss takes wonderful photos of music festivals and these folks' events, and there are links to the photos throughout this forum. (Am I telling them too much now?!)

Ah, okay! Thank you for explaining!

What's the best source online to find jam sessions and events throughout France?

What kind of jam sessions ? For bluegrass, oldtime and even blues, I think we are on the top...

I think you must definitely be the top from the musicianship I've heard from you guys!

What I'm wondering about is, if I am visiting friends in other parts of France (e.g., Nancy and Grenoble) on my next trip, whether there might be jams worth looking into in those areas. I wonder though if you've spoiled me so much with such a great jam in Paris that I shouldn't consider this!

"... on the top...", I mean that we know the best places to jam...

We have friends who can organize a jam I guess.

Ask us a couple of weeks before your venue and we do our best.

Take care,

Col.ResoMan

I think that it's my turn to put one of these  here. You are so, so, so kind (I really mean it!). Most of all though, I look forward to playing with you again, honestly!

If you are in the Grenoble area, we can arrange something around the Lyon - Annecy - Geneva axis.

Oh, that would be superb! Thanks so much. I'm planning a trip for this September, so will let you know for sure as I get my itinerary together to see if the timing would work for you guys. (If not this trip, I'll be coming back in the spring of 2010.)

Likewise, if you are out in California, please let me know!

I thought of all of you yesterday, when I was playing a very long Kentucky Derby gig with one of my duos. Everyone was up line-dancing and sipping Mint Juleps. So Southern and so from the heartland of Bluegrass.
